Serving Yield: Serves Six
¾ cup of sugar
6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tablespoons cornstarch
¼ teaspoon of salt
2 cups of milk
6 ounces semi sweet chocolate chips
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup Sweet Rosie Wine
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Sift ½ cup of the sugar with cocoa, cornstarch and salt.
Whisk in ½ cup of milk to make a smooth paste, mix well.
Put chocolate chips in heat proof bowl. In a sauce pan, combine the heavy cream with the
remaining milk and sugar and bring to simmer, stirring constantly.
Pour heated mixture over the chocolate blend together with the paste.
Mix the Sweet Rosie wine and vanilla until silky smooth.
Refrigerate in the bowl or pour into serving size containers. Chill 4 hours.
Just prior to serving, drizzle with Americana's Baco Noir Wine and Serve.
